Winthrop E. Johnson

Win Johnson joined Webb & Eley in 2006. His primary practice is in the defense of counties and county agencies in matters including contractual disputes, insurance coverage issues, tax issues, and other state law legal actions. Win also works with a variety of clients on probate matters, wills and estates, federal tort claims, and some criminal matters. Win is a certified and trained mediator at both the trial and appellate levels and has extensive knowledge of arbitration law.

Win has a deep background in military law, and currently serves as a lieutenant colonel and staff judge advocate with the U.S. Air Force Reserves. During his service in the Air Force he was awarded several commendations, including two Achievement Medals, two Commendation Medals and a Meritorious Service Medal.

Win is married and has three children. He is a member of Montgomery’s Trinity Presbyterian Church.
